where are the fuel jets located and how do you clean them 1976 johnson 70 hp

The jets are located in the carburetors. They look like a brass screw with a hole drilled through them. I recommend that you buy a manual to show you how to do it if you have not removed carburetors before.

Destiny , the above replies are good sound advice unless you can find someone on this forum that knows specific set-up of the carbs on your motor.Some have fixed jets,while others have adjustible mix screws.some don't even have mix screws.Some mix screws throttle air and some throttle fuel,and so on.If you are handy with carbs some experienced people can distinguish btween by making visual observation.Best bet is to get manual if you are not one of these people as the info is priceless and it will steer you on several other issues that may arise.
