I am considering buying a used 1998 seadoo 1800 sportser boat equipt with 2 twin 85hp engines.
I've never owned a jet drive boat before and was wondering if they are high maintenance engines compared to regular outboards. Also, is there anything I should be aware of when buying seadoo.

Thanks in advance,
Paul

Re: Jet Drive

well drive it before you buy it,, they don't steer for crap . I know this well because I make my living fixing that issue. but the old jet ski engine boats are the worst and I don't do those because they are no longer in production. And I have too much work doing the newer ones , my advice is forget about it. JUST BEING HONEST, no offense to any one who owns one.
