If it's like the throttle on my SportJet90, you need to partial angle it out and then shift the gear into forward or reverse (you will see that you will be moving the internals from the back to the front). Basically you angle the front out while in forward and then shift to revers and all the internals will shift to the front and therefore out of the cutout. then pull the rest of the way out. to replace it, you do the same in reverse.
