This is really only for those who want to travel between Rochester,NY and NYC.
Jet blue dropped the price to $30 +$10=$40.
Hurry, there are only a limited amount of tickets available.
To take your car from Rochester to NY is roughly 350 miles or 16 gallons of gas +$12 in throughway tolls.
You do the math.

I would either do that or take a cab,I would do that anyway.Driving in a nuthouse like NYC is better left to the locals.

The reason for this drop in prices is a bit out of the usual.
Governor Spitzer is trying to promote upstate,NY and he convinced the jet Blue people to participate in this promotion gig.
The idea is that people would come and visit the Finger Lakes wineries and Rochester is the closest city with an airport.
I just hope that nobody will tell them about the incredible fishing going on here.
Just this morning I caught a 29 pound salmon out of the lake just 2 miles from shore.
In September the fishing scene on lake Ontario is as good if not better than Buzzards Bay with all its Stripers.

Re: Jet blue slashed our ticket price.

I hear ya on the nuts/horn deal.
We went there in Oct. to be on Judge Jerry and we flew into LaGuardia
and some cat was waiting on us a holding a sign with our name on it.
I think he said, this way and took off almost at a run. I told him he had better slow down cause this fat daddy could not keep up at that pace.
He either did not hear me or could not understand me, either way, he did not slow down till we got to the limo.

Well, the fun was just about to start.
From the time he pulled out till we got to the hotel, it was horn blowing, swapping lanes without looking and turned one corner and nicked some ol guys coat tails as we went by.

They don't get rid of cars up there for getting old, but let the horn quit, it's ebay time for them.:D

Some years ago, they made a movie called "It's a Mad Mad Mad World", you must have either come in contact with that crazy bunch, or perhaps your little green friends may have engaged the improbability drive in error.;)
Btw, i hope that you did not try their picquante sauce.

Re: Jet blue slashed our ticket price.

Are there any tickets left??? Seems like a bargain. I will have my wife drive from Boston to Rochester, NY and hop on Jet Blue to NYC, 40 bucks is a savings (LOL)
