Thanks for the help with the 98 GSX limitedI,, isolated the yellow wire that was causing the short and, presto-it, did great9, miles15,. hours riding all different speeds. The only thing that I did notice is that when I hit the trimthe, 12v low light came onbut, the battery was the same voltage when I came in as it was when I leftBut. now I have another problem. I wanted to do a compression test toniteso,, I started the ski for a few seconds firstthen,, shut downpulled, plugsput, plugs back in caps on top of motorand,, lost all power again.. The back fuse is goodthe, front fuse is goodI,, shorted the kill switch across with a pair of pliersbut,, I get nothingnot, even dash lightsIt. was raining tonightso, I had to give up till tomorrow.
