I purchased a 1996 suntoon w/Mercury Force 90 engine. Neutral switch is not working. The engine wont start. When you crank engine propeller turns. can anyone tell me how to repair the neutral or what to check for?

First, a Force motor is not a Mercury. Being as this seems like more of an engine problem, you might have better luck with a solution if you post in the engine section under Force and Chrysler. Good Luck.

Wouldn't swear to it, but I think later model Force outboards were made by Merc. Don't quote me on it. Someone in the Merc and/or Force boards could say for sure. I'd say your best bet is to post the question in both boards and see what happens. Welcome to iboats.
