Jabsco washdown pump

I just installed a new pump this spring. It has been working great all summer. I just returned from a 8 day vacation and when I turned it on nothing. I remembered from some previous posts try tapping it with a hammer. Sure enough it started up and ran good for the 10 minutes I ran it. Is this a common thing with these pumps or is it a concern? I have a warranty until next May from West Marine.

If it happens again, video it and talk to WM. They will most likely exchange it
