ok, i have tried a couple of simple things, adjusting the carb, adj the throttle connections, i went ahead and ran some seafoam in it tonight, im currently letting it soak...the thing being that it was running fairly well till late yesterday, now it will run at speed, but will not slow idle, it will sputter sneeze and stall out...i just got this boat a month or so ago...i dont believe it has ever been decarbed...it smoked to high hell when i sprayed it in the carb... any suggestions from here? hopefully it runs fine...but if not does anyone have list of probable causes? i do have the shop manual...


any help is greatly appreciated...

ok, well....i went through the decarbing process, and ran the boat last night...it ran stronger and smoother at speed...however still will not idle long...doesnt sputter and spit as much though...one of the plugs seems to show more wear than the other...(both are less than 20hrs, replaced at same time) i am gonna take the carb apart and re-clean it this aft (just rebuilt same time as plugs with new parts) i did use some questionable tcw3 the other day...it does hesitate to rev up some times (esp when i am flushing the salt in the yard...) this boat did sit up (not storedjust sat for two years)

once again, any tips or thoughts are appreciated...
