Ive pulled the 6 long bolts on the exhaust adapter the two nuts on tthe rear the front bolt and nut and disconnected the shift rod linkage. The powerhead absolutely will not budge. Is there something i am missing. I know in theory i can remove it without dropping the lower unit but would it be easier? My thought is if i drop the lower I know the drive shaft canr bind up. As it is now it will not budge I am replacing the lower cowl from impact damage. Any other tricks besides brute force?

How about the 2 screws that mount the cowling to the powerhead.-----One is near the starter.----Does the powerhead budge at all ?----Put one of the nuts back on the studs at the back and use a hefty prybar.
