Just this minute, this idea occurred to me:<br /><br />become a fishing guide.<br /><br />Got a regular fishing buddy? Pay whichever one's boat you go in - just make sure the trips even out over the year & there's no economic impact either way. Then deduct all your fishing expenses, don't forget to claim the revenue. But, also deduct the amount you pay him. Sometimes guides hire other guides to learn stuff, right?<br /><br />Just don't go overboard with claiming too much losses year after year else IRS might notice.<br /><br />and, careful about where you exchange funds or who you tell - in case there's a guide license requirement in your state - those license fees might take all the tax benefit away.<br /><br />And if they ask you where you got the idea, I'll deny everthing!<br /><br />good luck...
