I had a father son pair in the boat for the last couple mornings. This morning We pulled up to a rock face, I told the son to cast in this certain spot and to deliberatly hit the rock and let the bait just fall into the water right next to the rock. He gave it a try and he made the perfect cast, [dosent usually happen with most clients]. The water exploded, and he pulled out a nice 3 1/2 #er.

I love it when that happens. :D :D

I would think that a guide like you could arrange to have each of your clients catch three or four of those!

Love it when that happens!!
I used to go to certain heavily fished salmon rivers quite often. I went one day, talked to a tourist who had been trying for hours to hook one. You could see the LARGE schools of fish swimming around. I gave him some advice on which lures, how long to count after casting, where to cast, etc. I then cast out (first cast of the day for me) FISH ON!! He got upset and left. :p
Oh well, made me look like I knew what I was doing :D

AK Chappy

I have enjoyed imensly guiding this summer and fall. I have met some of the nicest people and things have went better than I could have imagined. I have also learned a lot more about my home lake that I ever thought I would having fished here for about 35 years. Time on the water is worth its weight in gold for sure.

Yes, it does make you look good, thats for sure. :)

They had such a great time, they gave me a $40.00 tip.
