It's Boat buying season

The ski season is over in my home town so, it must be "Boat Buying Season."

Any know anything about the Supra Legacy? How is the slalom wake (I ski at 30 or 32mph)? A 1999 model is for sale in my area and I want to do some checking around before I look at it.

I did look at the Supra web site and they have an Archive page that list the specs.

I have not skied behind that year/ model. Try a Google search "1999 supra legacy slalom wakes". And you'll find some stuff like this:

All Supras of that vintage are great ski boats. Just make sure you get a good mechanic to completely analyze the engine and checkout the transmission.

Boat salvage yards are full of inboard outboards. A guy down the road has a 1953 Chris Craft runabout his father bought new and properly maintained all these years. They can be great values vs. what new specialized ski boats cost.
