As many know, I have been through 3 RV's the last couple of years, but if you are running an RV, I strongly recommend going to the big auction website, spend $10 or $20 bucks on LED 1156 bulbs and replace ever single bulb in your trailer or motor home, I purchase 10 of them 2 years ago for the 5th wheel and another 10 for the motor home we just purchased They draw very little power, you can get them in the color temp we are all used to and they last for ever!

Most exciting technology use that I ever remember seeing, how could you go wrong, low power draw, no heat and last forever, I am not trying to make a sale, but letting people know, the best bang for you buck in 1156 bulbs are LED bulbs, great stuff!

When you are camping remotely, like my wife and I do, one of the most comforting things is having lights and power and these bulbs allow you to make sure you have the juice you need to see what the heck you are doing at o dark 30, good stuff!

I totally agree and this new lighting technology is certainly the future....until something even better comes along!...

I did that on our big boat, definitely made a difference. Got LED anchor lights on both boats now.

+++++ I just switched the lights in our pop up. Going boondocking at trout camp next weekend. Will see how much the LEDs save on battery draw, should be a lot.

I am going to be replacing the 1156 bulbs in my dad's Lance camper that my brother and I use. There are also some florescent lights that I would like to replace with LED as well.

So what are the best LED replacements for the Fluorescent tube fixtures that are in RV's? I am almost tempted to pull out the guts of the fixtures and just put in LED strip lighting inside them.

My dad put a nice set of solar panels on this camper so the battery can get totally recharged during the day.
