Hey everyone, I'm looking to purchase my first boat for shore/offshore fishing here in California, and the Inflatable Sports Boat Killer Whale, has caught my eye. The problem, I'm having is that I can't find a ton of first hand experience about it on the internet.

I was originally looking at the Zodiac Cadet 350, because it's a known commodity but the Killer Whale is a tad cheaper and I'm not seeing too much of a difference online. Ultimately however, I want to buy something of good quality, so the Zodiac may be the better option.

The plan is to purchase a Tohatsu 9.9 to go with either. Thanks!

Nahhhh, that sib loses too much valuable rear deck space between transom and tube's end. The width seems very narrow, definitely a non comfy interior which is a killer issue.

Much better for the money would be a Saturn 11-12 Ft inflatable : But right now out of stock, this brand sells fast. Other nice alternative would be a 13 Ft, same as 11 & 12, but bit larger, can order one with an inflatable air deck for ease of assembly/disassembly or with alum panel floor. The 13 comes with an air deck which could be trade for an alum panel floor and pay the price difference if there's any.

A 11 ft sib is too small, invest wise on the 13, handles a larger 15 HP motor, carries more passengers, has a much better water ride and the fabric is tad thicker than the lousy Killer Whale. If interested order the 2001 model, costs tad more, but way to go. : https://www.saturnboats.com/inflatable-boats/13-dinghy-tender/13-saturn-dinghy-tender-en.html

BTW, both 9.9 & 15 HP motors weights exact same and both shares same CC powerhead, go for the 15 HP which will power much better a 13 Ft Sib and any larger one if plan upgrading in the near future.
