I don't have the original oil tank cap for my 1986 Suzuki DT-75 and have modified a gas tank cap to fit which works well. But the gas tank cap is non-vented. Is the original Suzuki oil cap vented. and if not, how does the tank vent?
BTW, the gas tank cap threads were just a bit small, so a small coil of soft copper tubing fitted into the threads of the tank was just the thing to make the gas cap threads catch and it closes securely now. This is an improvement over the wrap of duct tape the previous owner had installed on the cap.
