Usually get our mail before noon. It is now 2:10 pm and no sign of them.

Tried to find a list of Holidays on the USPS site, to no avail.

I got my junk mail delivery right on time. Maybe your guy went "Postal". It's been awhile, probably overdue. ;)

Well the mail finally showed up, bills and all. They must not know how to act without rain, sleet or snow. Actually, it was probably a substitute carrier.

JRJ, that's typical. Mail piles up on weekends.

Just like the day after a holiday the mailmen work their tails off trying to get caught up. One of our mailmen said it's not really a holiday to them.

Just heard something about First class mail going up in May, is there any truth in that?

Haven't heard it would be May but I know one is in the works. Supposedly the next first class increase will include a 'forever' stamp. One that will be good for ever, like a Disneyland ticket.

You won't have to go get the 1 and 2 cent stamps the next time there is a rate increase.

It must be nice to have a monopoly.
