Looks right assuming iBoats has the right parts listed.

The issue of the 55 amp upgrade to 65 is note 4 and if you look up a line or two you'll see note 4 is attached to the alternator, not the sstarter.

I have a 350 V8 and you have a 4.3 but as I understand it they have many parts in common. On mine, and I looked at the iBoats picture and your starter looks nearly identical to mine, there are two 9/16 head bolts the go up from the bottom through the starter housing just befind the pinion grear housing and into the block. These are the main mounting bolts. Do not remove both through (long) bolts as this will dismantle the sterter and putting the brushes back in takes a bit of doing. On my engine though, one of those bolts does go to an added bracket from the back end of the starter to the engine block. I just do not know if you have this. In this case remove only the one bolt for this bracket. Make sure before you start anything to disconnect the battery!!! Also, be careful to identify the wires abd where they go. It sounds like your are fairly new to repairing things like this and it is easy to get the wires wrong when replacing everything. Clean all of the connections before reinstalling as well.

Garden state surfer, I live in the Toms River area, and I find the local autoparts store can order (1/2 day) rebuilt maring starters for my 4.3LX. They are a bit cheaper than a new one from West Marine or BoatUS. Make sure you get one with the same bolt pattern (mine has staggered bolts)
