I have a 115 HP evinrude that looks to be a 79 or early 80's model (tag missing and can't read the frost plug) and I'm looking for a good manual for it.

Would this one be useful (read better then Seloc)?

Ebay

Or this one?

Ebay (same seller)

They are equally useful. Both are factory and much more useful than Seloc. Maybe you could post pics or give a detailed decsription and part #'s from this motor and we can nail down the year.
Good luck

Looks to me as either one will suit you fine as little changed on that model from 79 thru early 80's according to parts list. Check out ishopmarine.com for exploded views of the powerhead and maybe you can match up some part #'s stamped on your motor to narrow it down.
Good luck

Thanks (and thanks to OBJ in the other thread).

I'm bidding on the 80's one, so please don't bid against me ;)

I'm sure the knowledge gained by reading the manual will more than compensate for the cost even if it's off a few years. I'm holding out for the swimsuit edition!!!
