Hi People, I have a 1990 90 hp Force,it died Monday out on the water. I looked at it tonight and couldnt turn the prop by hand. Figured its seized i tried to turn the flywheel with a ratchet and finally got it to move.<br />moves freely now and turns over except it wont start, is this possible that its not siezed or do you think its toast, thank all

What happened just prior to it dying? You need to do a compression test. That's the only way to tell anything about what is going on.

Did the overheat buzzer come on at any point? Alot of time when these motors just die it's due to an overheat-

Compression tested at 85 all three cylinders, a bit low,of course it was a cold test when i did it last night.(couldnt start it). manual says 135 - 150.<br />checked spark today, thats ok, didnt<br />overheat it the other day.<br />Finally got it running tonight and i heard a couple of knocks in the motor at high rpm's so i shut it off and called it a night. thanks everyone for the help, i think it toast
