is this little hole weaping water on the lower leg normal ? NS8A

Hi,

This 8hp 2stroke Nissan is new to me, i have to say I didn't notice this right away, I haven't seen a hole here before, also when on the muffs and running a small amount of water comes out of this hole...

Maybe someone can tell me if they have it on their motor, and if not what kind of corrosion is going on there and what I should do about it.

All portables have small holes along leg, quite normal.

Yep. It's a drain, to allow water out so it won't freeze in there.

is this hole on the inside of gearcase facing transom . As I found a rubber plug in the street in front of our house?? looks like the hole is a 1/4 of a inch .. water does come out when running or idle??
