This is from an`89 Mercury, 40hp- 4 cyl project boat i picked up a while back. Previous owner replaced the the stator and this is how he got the flywheel off, They didn`t remove flywheel nut . Can this flywheel be safely bolted back on ( i did start it for a sec to test a replaced switchbox) and used? If so, any idea on torque for the 8 bolts and use of loc-tite, and static timming for marks, - tdc on #1 and marks in the window? Thanks
I do have a factory manual

It's hard to tell if it is cracked or not, if cracked it would need a flex plate kit, if it's not roll the engine to TDC on #1 and install the flywheel to the TDC mark on the cowl.
