I am new to this. I’m retired and I thought about a project and I found this old Larson boat. Don’t know if it would be too much of a project for me but I am interested any input would be appreciated.

That's a nice looking boat. Do you know anything about it's condition? Type/size/condition of motor? (I assume it's an outboard). I'm pretty sure there are some topics in the Restoration forum where others have rehabbed that model of Larson.

with any boat, its value is based on condition, condition, condition

that boat is celebrating its 58th year, not bad for a boat designed to last 15 and be replaced. that fact alone could mean that the boat is a garage-kept gem or something pulled from the weeds and cleaned up for a quick flip. it will have to be gone over with a fine-toothed comb to know if its a good deal or not.

with any aluminum boat under $5k and any fiberglass boat under $10k should be looked at as a project boat unless otherwise proven in perfect working order.
