I trashed my 350 last year and just picked up a 454 to swap. What's needed to do this, will the mount need to move or bolt up and what about the flywheel is it the same one on my 350. The 454 I have cam with this cam will it work for a marine cam.

The cam is by a custom cam grinder

If you plan to run stock exhaust with that cam there will be a good possibility of water reversion with only 110 LS. Stock exhaust prefere 114+ lobe seperation.

Hey crazy, Picklenjim is definitely a motor guy. He ain't just blowing smoke, but if you ignore him your new motor could be.
Get a marine stick and get the benefits of the 454.
Reversion is what happens when there's enough valve overlap to suck some of the cooling water back up the exhaust, when that happens stuff breaks.
If you just have to run the hi po cam you will want to figure out how to do dry (loud) exhaust. Then you run into noise rules.
I still say get a marine cam.

One question.... Is this an inboard application or with a stern drive unit? If it's a stern drive, which drive, Alpha or Bravo? Ok, that's 2 questions.... My bad.....

The boat is a 1989 Larson senza 210, it will have about 320 hp 454 engine. Outdrive is a 1.5 alpha drive with a 21 pr 23 prop. The risers going to be welded about 16" longer then what stock is to see if that helps

Thats a lot of cam for only expecting 320hp. That cam is more for an engine in the 400+hp range. You could build a 350 that will make 320hp pretty easy. You will need all the other parts to compliment that cam or it's gonna be a pig. What heads, intake and carb do you have?

Next problem is your going to over power that alpha drive. I believe their only rated for 300hp max.
