I RAN MY MOTOR OUT OF OIL STOPPED AS SOON AS THE WARNING BUZZER SOUNDED REFILLED OIL TANK BUT NOW THE MOTOR WILL RUN FOR ONLY A SHORT TIME AT WOT BEFORE THE BUZZER SOUNDS AGAIN. THE MOTOR WILL IDLE AT TROLLING SPEED OR JUST SLIGHTLY ABOVE FOR HOURS AT A TIME BUT WHEN I HEAD BACK IN RUNNING AT 30-35MPH THE BUZZER WILL SOUND AND THE MOTOR FEELS LIKE IT IS DROPPING 2 CYLS. IF I IDLE FOR A FEW MINUTES THE MOTOR WILL RUN FINE FOR ANOTHER FIFTEEN TO THIRTY MINUTES AND START ALL OVER AGAIN. HAD ABSOLUTELY NO0 PROBLEMS UNTILL OIL TANK WENT DRY MOTOR RUNS FINE IN A TANK OR ON THE MUFFS ANY IDEAS?

Warning horn sounding continous, and rpms dropping indicates overheating.

Check to see if the float in the oil reservour is stuck in the 'out of oil' position.

there is a procedure to bleed the line.Remove the line at the VRO,Pump the ball at the oil tank until oil flows out. While pumping the ball shove the line back on to the pump. secure line with a clamp and try it out. that will get any air out of the system hope it works. laters nj
