Have been reading about killswitches lately and I've been all over my 40 Merc - is there even a killswitch on it? Maybe where I can't easily see? Thanks, Heinz

You can get a kit that connects to the stopswitch and has a string to connct to your person. If you leave, the motor stops when you pull the string.<br /><br />Come both as Merc part and aftermarket.

Unless this is a tiller, if there is a kill switch, it will be in your controls not on the motor.

Thanks guys, I did forget to mention, it is a remote steering setup - no tiller, doesn't appear to be killswitch, Thanks, Heinz
