Is there a "best" ear muff type flush?

I'd like to perform an oil change on my new to me 2005 Mercury 90 4 stroke. Previous owner always had the marina shop do all the maintenance, therefore he never ran the motor out of the body of water. I though do not live on the water and will need to start up and idle the motor on occasion in my driveway.

I've looked around and even talked to a local outboard shop ran by some old guys too... Was told depending on the model, my motor may not accept muffs. And unfortunately the old shop guy didn't have that other flush part. Not much help...

So I've been poking around looking for flush kits and it seems the ear muff design is the most common by far. I'm not sure how well they work either but I'd certainly prefer to get the one that actually works right so I dont burn up the impeller.

So I'm asking if anyone knows or has an opinion on what ear muff brand/type is the best.

Thanks everyone.
