Have you considered looking in the yellow pages for a marine repair service in your area that handles whatever type drive you may have?

there are not to many places around here and the on that is is backed up for several weeks. That is why I was hopeing to find someone around here to help me.<br />thanks

I know a couple of people near Fox Lake up Route 12. Westshore Marine - Larry Brusso in McHenry, IL and Pete over at Minneola Bay in Fox Lake, IL<br /><br />Hope that helps.

Haven't used West shore marine, but it seems like a decent place(spoke with Larry). Haven't been by Minneola Bay though.

Westshore is an older run down shop, but Larry and his partner have been wrenching on boats forever. He really knows these things inside out. His shop rate is also a little less than Chicago Sea Ray, Munson's etc. I think somewhere around $80. I think Minneola Bay is $100/hr.<br /><br />I don't think you can go wrong with Larry at Westshore or Pete at Minneola. Good Luck.
