What are the pitfalls?

Can I unbolt them from the motor and just bring them back without the boat to work on? I haven't found my beloved (NOT) Clymers manual yet. I seem to have misplaced it. (the wife might have thought she did me a favor by throwing it away after she heard me talking about it..)

Thanks... Gary

Yes you can, the carbs are easy to get off and are not that complicated.
