I have some questions about my CDI on if this would be the reason to my mis-fire, I cleaned the carbs out after I took it out first time of season and was getting a misfire and rough idle…. Now don’t have rough idle anymore and just a misfire when I accelerate usually around 3500 rpm will pop once or twice then Higher rpm and more throttle seems to kick all cylinders in a won’t misfire . only on acceleration…. Then I’m getting continuity readings on 2 of the pronges the rest all stay reading OL on the multi meter when I check pronges on the CDI #67F-01 f8t35572 …. Please watch video and let me know what y’all think please :)…. I cleaned carbs which were pretty gummed up but now no rough idle….
Now only runs on 3 cylinders…. Also when I push my palm on the CDI when running I hear the RPM change and sounds like it kicks in the cyclinder ….. don’t wanna spend 750$ on new one and it supposed to do this lol

Don't know but comment on your testing

Using a ohm meter to check the box without knowing the circuity inside would be a waste of time. Putting leads on one way and then swapping to the other is what's called a diode check. The issue is this only works for diodes and a transistor if your connected to the right junctions. The diode check must be done with the meter in the diode setting. Placing it on most any other setting (10, 10K, Meg) will not provide the same information

When you place your hand on the CDI and it changes the running of the motor, my guess would be there is something loose inside the CDI or one of the connections, including the grounds
