Is it worth rebuilding the power head on my 1983 140 Johnson?

I am in Northern IL/Southern Wis area, need to have power head done on 1983 140 Johnson. Any recommendations? It is a super clean motor otherwise. Thanks.

Jeff, I would look into a powerhead exchange. There are several companies who will ship you a complete power head and you ship them back a good core.

Hey Jeff. that is a great motor because they stopped making the 140s in that small block after 1984. So you have a high HP motor in a light block. they are great motors. I know that there are some really good V-4 OMC guys near you.
