Is it the amber converter module, the led light,or wiring?

I have a toyota truck with amber turn signal converter. I have a LED trailer light with 10 cells that I know works. When i put that led LED on the passenger side of the trailer, turn on the turn signal, all 10 cells light up and blink as they are supposed to. When I pit that SAME LED on the drives side, turn on the left turn signal, only the (4) center cells blink. What could cause this? Do I replace the converter module, bad wiring, could it be the LED light itself? Very frustrating....any advise is appreciated!

Welcome aboard.

When the light is on the passenger side, how many LEDs are on for the tail light?

The drivers side brake and running light wires are reversed. Swap them.

there is no brake wire. Just 3 wires: yellow turn, brown park and ground. What else could it be causing my issues?

If something "just" went bad, then go buy another converter, there is a lot of them that will have problems after vibrating around on the rear of the the vehicle, just get a new one and install it and be done with it..

What lights are lights are on when only the taillights are on? It should be 4 on both sides.

BTW - The wires from the 4 pin plug to the lights are;

White - Ground
Brown - Tail lights on both sides and marker lights if you have them.
Yellow - Left brake and turn
Green - Right brake and turn
