Is it possible to swop Johnson elec. ignition 15hp onto points / condensor 15hp ??

Hi, I have a Johnson 15hp electronic ignition & a 15 hp non electronic/points condensor etc..
Is it possible to just swop over the stator plate, flywheel and cd unit etc...?Or would that just be wishful thinking!!
Is the timing different etc..??

Reason being I have a beautiful short 15hp that is immaculate and I love it, but it can be a little pig to start! where as the 15 hp long shaft always starts really easy! In some ways I prefer the points etc... as you will never get stuck as there is no cd unit that can just pack up when it wants! but I only use the 15 short on my inflatable zodiac on rivers and figured I could just have a spare cd unit under the hood anyway!
Any advise would be greatly appreciated...

yes,just swap all parts +flywheel.
cdi motor has only different head, this side where powerpack is atached,
