i took the boat to the lake a while ago... Ran really nice and then it fouled a plug... Turns out the top plug wasnt getting spark...

Replaced the condenser, put everything back together, and it acts like the battery is dead.... Take the plugs out and cranks over like how it did with plugs in it but upon further inspection there isnt any spark to niether top nor bottom cylinder...

Is the electrical dead???

Im maybe thinking its the kill switch for the controls...

Need to know the engine and ignition type: It appears you have a two cylinder, but is it battery ignition or magneto? Chrysler? Force? 35, 45. 50, 55?

Basics.Spark,compression,fuel.
You have spark testers? That's the real way to test.
Get a compression tester. The results should be even or within 5-10# of each other.
Fuel system. Ethanol is messing up a lot of motors.Read my signature.J

MINE IS A 1967 9.2 MAGNETO PULL START AND ELECTRIC START ... BUT STILL MAGNETO... I THINK EACH CYLINDER HAS AROUND 135-132 "IT WAS AROUND 2.5 LBS OFF" ITS BEEN A FEW MONTHS OF HUNTING SO I DONT REMEMBER:D

THE FREKKEN BS'ER IS THE THING RAN ON ONE CYLINDER ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE DOCK AND IT WAS UNDER CONSTANT LOAD...

I TOOK IT APART WHEN I GOT HOME, GOT A CONDERSER, PUT IT BACK TOGETHER AND NOT IT BARLEY TURNS OVER"ACTS LIKE REALLY BAD BATTERY"

WHEN THE PLUGS ARE OUT"LEANING UP AGAINST THE PLUG HOLE" NOTHING... NOTHING AT ALL:confused:

Clean all of your battery connections. It the slow starter speed is probably due to a bad connection. Clean power, and ground connections.

Then make sure your points are clean and properly gapped. And make sure all the connections are clean for the coils, points and condensers.

Its possible that you lost one coil, but it would be strange to lose both at the same time.
