Matter of personal choice. <br /> Premix is absolute but to some it may be inconveniant esp. with larger built in tanks. Injection is convieniant but not absolute. Alarms and safeguards are usually there in the event that injection fails. My kicker is premix and same ratio (50:1) as my main engine so if I was to get a injection failure I can use the premix tank and top up from my built in raw gas tank. I always keep oil on board so i can mix my kicker tank anyways. Have not had a injection failure yet thought . K.O.W.
