Had a corroded connector to my high pressure side of the fuel pump on my 2005 Volvo 5.0 OSi-E which left me stranded. Cleaned the connector and replaced the fuel filter (starts and runs fine now), but now I am getting a very noticeable whine from the high pressure side (which is new or much worse than it was). Don't want to roll the dice or get stranded again.....is the whining and indication of a imminent fuel pump failure?
Thanks.
Thanks.
