In a past post I mentioned a leak in my circulating pump( the one for closed circuit anti-freeze system) and one suggestion was to replace it with one from NAPA. NAPA asked me if the Volvo Penta AQ125A is the same as the Volvo B21F car engine. I told him that I think so but that I'd check with the experts on the forum. If it's the same pump that's used on the Volvo B21F, the price for a remanufactured one is about 1/10th of the cost of a Volvo Penta pump.

So is the AQ125A a marinized B21F? If not, which Volvo car is it from?

It's not from any car. It's set up to work with a heat exchanger on a marine engine.

Thanks, I'll check the picture against the pump in the AQ125A.
