Is boat/motor worth buying?

Looking to buy a used fishing boat with a 02 50hp EFI 4 stroke Evenrude motor. It runs fine in low to mid throttle but when it is run up it starts to miss and lose almost all power. For a 02 it looks like this boat and motor has been dock negleted. Not allot of hours on the boat but has been sitting in the sun for allong time. Maybe bad gas? What do you think is most likely wrong? How expensive is it to have these EFI worked on? Is there a criticle break in period that this guy has over looked?

Sounds like a contaminated fuel (water) problem or restricted fuel flow problem to me.<br /><br />If you want it bid for it with the engine fixed and certified.
