Is 5.7L EFI (260hp) enough pwr for 23' Mystique

I am considering buying a 2001 2300 Mystyque BR. It has a 5.7L EFI Mercruiser (260hp). Boat weight is 4150lbs. I'm concerned that this may not be enough power for this boat. Does anyone agree this may not be enough power for water skiing? Is my concern valid?

Sorry I did't post earlier but it has been getting cold here in new york so the boat has been put away for a while. I bought a 2400 mystique deck boat with a 5.7 an I towed 2 skiers one time and a tube that holds 4. So does the 5.7 have enough power YES. I love mine and am very happy. The only thing I did is put a 4 blade stainless prop.
