intex seahawk ii vs intex mariner 3

hello, can anyone let me know the difference between these two boats? the specs and product description are identical but the cost of the seahawk ii is higher.

the mariner 3 will be replacing the seahawk ii name because of confusion with the cheaper seahawk 2 (green boat). I contacted both Intex and rubberboats.com and was assured other than the color and decals its the same thing. they are doing away with the seahawk ii name. get which ever one has the better price.

I asked the same question. The answer I got was that the Seahawk II named changed for 2013 to Mariner 3. The boats are the same except for the name. I found that the Mariner 3 boat was about $30 cheaper than the Seahawk II when searching online, I got mine from WindyCitySuperstore. Got it in less than 1 week.

Eyeboater: I know virtually nothing about either, but before you buy, I wonder if you might want to consider the Mariner 4, which I just bought. I am quite happy with it and I think you'll have many others on here with the same opinion. Good luck, either way.
