internal fresh water cooling system

I have come across a 1979 Tahiti Emperor; it has a 350 mag with internal fresh water cooling. Anyone ever had experience with this kind of system on a 25' boat? Am I asking for more maintenance headaches?<br /><br />thanks for your assistance in advance.<br /><br />shane

Actually, Alot Less Maintaince.....<br />The motor won't rust, from the inside out....
