Internal Anode removal tricks?

Posting a separate issue…not sure if I should have included all in one post so my apologies if so…

Any tips on getting these suckers out? If this is the intake side I’m sure the exhaust jacket side is going to be BAD.

I wore brushed it and dug out corrosion with a pick. Soaking in vinegar overnight…was thinking maybe Muratic acid if still stuck and heat. Probably can’t get it secure enough for an impact screwdriver and might break something. Any pointers? Thanks

Second the impact driver....

And if you decide to go after the other side, you'll need to be VERY careful with the bolts holding the other side on. Don't be scared to warm up the area of the block the bolt screws into (not the cover) directly with a propane torch in the immediate area of a stuburn bolt!!!! MUCH easier than drilling and tapping one of those lower ones if (when) they break off.

Impact driver worked great thanks guys …scared about what I will find under the water jacket cover :)
