My 90 hp Evinrude 1990 has a choke problem. It only works intermittantly. I heard that there was a rewiring problem with the choke for that year. Any one have any info?

Thanks Estoman

Re: Intermittant choke

#1 your motor does not have a choke, it has an (enricher) primer solenoid, that injects fuel directly into the intake. i know of no problem with them.

what are your symptoms.

just bought it, plan on a water pump rebuild before 1st launch. change lower unit oil now before 1st freeze. store with motor all the way down.
