Ayuh,..... So I'm supposed to go find these manifolds to compare 'em,..??

I've got a better idea,.... You post links to 'em instead,.....

NO they both won't fit, it's one or the other .
In 1987 GM changed the angle of the 4 center intake manifold bolts, (2 per side), that same year they changed the valve covers, so it is easy to tell what you have.
The valve cover bolts are just an easy identifier.

pre 1987:http://www.northernautoparts.com/Images/ProductModelImages/ph_25798.jpg, you need the 2504
1987-1995:http://www.northernautoparts.com/Images/ProductModelImages/ph_25805.jpg , you need the 2506

Remember 1987-1995 are PRE Vortec!
I'm curious if Mercruiser made the change in 1987 or did it at a later date?
I didn't feel the need to quote the OP :)
