I just purchased an SV1500 and have a question about the insulated fish box. The box on the front deck, I assume it is insulated and was wondering if the water drains into the deck or overboard. When I look under the rear deck it looks like the drain holes just go into the bilge area. I would not like to have fish water in the bilge area. any answers would be appreciated.

My 180cc drains thru hull on the side near the hole in the box.

Does your rear box have drain holes that just drain under the back deck into the bilge area?

Re: Insulated Fish Box

Rear box is for the battery and oil tank, it drains in to the bilge. The console cooler sweats in to the bilge, but drains thru the transom near the plug. The two livewells and floor drains each exit thru the transom at the waterline with the one-way rubber flaps.

Hope this helps.
