Okay here is the situation: (and my question 
)
I have a 1986 60HP Johson j60elcd
I have an OMC:
-4 Wire VRO pump (5004558 )
-Oil tank with system check (176995)
-Wiring harness (176341)
-Faria tachometer with system check
I want to connect the gauge, but i first would like your advice about how to do it.
I've read about OMC part 174710, wiring harness adaptor. But i think it has only a connection for the VRO pump not tank en temprature. (can some one confirm this cuase i can't find information / picture about this part on the net)

I also have read this threat about the pinout, in case i have to solder it my self.

But i would like to know if there is a way to upgrade my engine and connect my tach and system check lights with standard parts?
