I have a manual for my motor 1992 115HP motor, but I must be missing something. I took my starter off about a week ago to have rebuilt, they rebuilt it for me. When I reinstalled the starter I hooked up the yellow wire from the soleniod and also I grounded the starter to the block....I thought all was fine. When trying to start motor after a short while it wouldn't start...it did turn over but wouldn't start. Sounded like I was out of gas, long story short I went back to look over the motor and the starter was way hot. Almost to hot to touch. Can someone help me try to determine what I might have done wrong? Also on a side note....where is your battery grounded?
