Installing shaft vs. engine and drive

I came across a 1982(?) Sleek Craft without much of anything. Basically a bare hull boat. I need to find engine and drive unit, but is it possible to install just a shaft and prop keeping the boat completely inboard?

Well yes and no?? You need to install the type of drive the hull was built for or you may be into a massive project. Carry this question to the project boat section for further help.<br /><br />Bob
