New belly tank going in under deck. The original tank simply rested on the V-shaped floor joist and then was surrounded by foam. But the tank actually was only supported on the few tiny spots that the tank touched that V shaped joist. There was much ware on the original tank at those points. I'd like to make something to fill the gap in the V so that the tank is supported on a much larger area. Any suggestions?

Maybe some sections of heavy industrial rubber hose, rubber tires, my brother-in-law used sections of used fire hose to bunk his belly tank, worked great! Lots of ways to skin that cat! Good Luck!

got some pics of the hull? I take it the tank is a flat bottom? Mine has a sole deck spanning from stringer to stringer glassed in.
