Installing Fishfinder. Need answers quick.

Finally got my new Garmin. I've been playing with it inside and so far its awesome. I'm installing it in a little while. <br />The instructions arent very detailed, but it doesn't seem to complicated. I'm a little unsure about the wiring. <br />The power data cable has 7 different wires. I know where the red and black go, but not the others. <br />Yellow---Alarm<br />Brown----NMEA in<br />Blue-----NMEA out<br />Green and White are no connection.<br />I assume the others are for more accessories that I don't have, but i'm not sure.

You only need to connect the red (via fuse, directly to battery) and the black.<br /><br />The others are for options.<br /><br />Good luck.

Yes, I just got a new 240 Blue also and was wondering what all the extra wires were for. Also you mention options, where can I get info on these options?<br /><br />Thanks in advance...<br />Bill
