Need advice on connector type at transom and if I should wire directly to second battery or battery switch.
Has upgraded higher amp alternator.
1-2-both-off switch and diode charge isolator
Riggers are old obsolete Walkers (I know, but they work ) I have an obsession with old stuff. Have good strong rigger board.
When I scavenged them from parts boat, they had regular house receptacles under the gunnel each fused and from a common power bar. 14 gauge wire. Power came from main distribution box. Single battery.
This boat does NOT have easy access to transom for under gunnel outlets, easy flush mount to panels under gunnel though. Or maybe on the underside of rigger board.
